Twin Lakes Park is open to the public from 8 a.m. until dark, every day of the week.
Welcome to Twin Lakes, a scenic lakefront park proudly owned by Charter Township of Long Lake. Located less than five miles west of Traverse City, It offers a serene, nature-filled setting that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle while still providing easy and convenient access.
From corporate meetings and private events to anniversaries, graduation parties, and weddings, we invite you to celebrate any occasion with us- large or small.
During the summer months, Twin Lakes serves as a vibrant venue for local camps, including high school marching band camps, sports camps, church day camps, dance programs, and 4-H youth camps. With a wide variety of facilities and activities available, Twin Lakes is well-equipped to meet the needs of any group.
By reserving or booking any part of Twin Lakes Park you are agreeing to comply with the Park Ordinance and Terms & Conditions. Please click the buttons below and read and print the documents below.
Reservation Instructions
If you are renting for the first time in this reservation system, please follow the steps below for a positive experience:
- Select the Reservations and Booking Button Above. That button will take you to a page with all the Twin Lakes Parks rental areas.
- Click the rental area: Click on the Title or the picture to go to the rental screen.
- Select your date: On the blue calendar, select the date of your rental. If your rental is time rent sensitive, a timetable will reveal itself.
- Pick your time: Select the hours you want to rent. Note: Some rentals have a minimum time associated with them.
- Additional Items: Some rentals have tables and chairs available. You will see those under the timetable. Please complete as desired.
- Book Now: Once complete, click the Book Now button, and your selection will go to the shopping cart.
- Click View Cart: To see your selection, click View Cart to check out.
- Proceed to Checkout: First-time users are asked to Please Register while returning users are asked to Log In.
- Please read the Park Ordinance and Twin Lakes Park Event Policies and Procedures and check the box you have read and will comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the two documents.
- Please read and sign the Waiver and check the box.
- Below that area are a few questions you will be prompted to complete regarding your rental.
- Billing Details: Complete all items that have (asterisks *) to proceed to Place Order. If you have missed a required question will be flagged in red. Just click your back browser arrow to start that page over. Once complete, you can move forward.
